Things are going as good as to be expected since being released from the hospital Monday afternoon. His feed totals are going up and he is sleeping for longer periods at night which is great, let me tell you...

This blog was designed to share our son's journey - living with a congenital heart defect. Braden was born on August 17, 2006, and was diagnosed with HLHS two days later. After 2 open heart surgeries within three months of age, Braden thrived and marveled the doctors throughout his little life. On the late evening of March 16, 2009, Braden's heart went into a fatal arrhythmia. He earned his angel wings on March 17th. This blog now marks the journey of survival - living with the devastating loss of our hero, our son, our precious B.

Love the pics too, especially Braden with Grandma & Grandpa P! It is a Kodak moment with Grandpa smiling. Steph, you look so happy to be home.
