Home Sweet Home

Hello,
Braden has adjusted quite well to his new lifestyle at home. He had a great night last night, and mom and dad are quickly adjusting to middle of the night feedings and diaper changes. We're not sure how Snickers the cat is taking all of this in though....he's quite curious of Braden and not sure what to think of being second in line now.

It's been nice having Gramma Patsy, Auntie Marci, and Great Aunt Shelly here to help out, so we can get a nap in and organize our house a little. We were greeted yesterday with a nice sign in our yard welcoming Braden home....thank you Uncle Bob and Aunt Joy. Grandma Lois and Grandpa Harvey also surprised us with balloons, flowers, and a little house cleaning before our arrival.

Thanks for checking in,
Love Steph

Glad to hear prayers more prayers being answered! I am sure we can all say we prayed for this day to come in which Braden we be able to to go home with his mom and dad where he belongs. Its great to hear Grandma, Auntie, and Great Auntie are being so helpful to all three of you, as any extra hands go along way.
Thanks again for keeping everyone posted, can't help but grin everytime you hear the strength Braden and you two have. What a special family indeed.
Thoughts and prayers continue.

What wonderful news! We were in Green Bay this weekend without access to the Internet so you can imagine how anxious I was to get home and check the blog. I am so happy that you are finally able to start parenting hands on in the comfort of your own home. It is the most wonderful thing, being with your baby, even at 2 a.m. Before you know it he will be sleeping through the night.

Good luck to you guys and I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Say hello to the Munising crew for me.

Take care.

Welcome Home Braden!! What a joy to read that you were heading home and now that you are there. We all knew this day would come for the three of you. All we can say to this story is that God is good and He does answer prayer.
The Lord knows the reasoning behind this fluke with Braden's heart but He also has shown Himself faithful to you and of course the rest of us too.
Keep up the good work baby Braden and Mom and Dad give him all the love you can, enjoy these days as a baby because they certainly don't last long enough. Love you All, Uncle Dale and Aunt Cheryl

"Home" has such a nice ring to it. We are glad that Braden is adjusting so well to his new home - how could he not with all the love that fills it. Glad to hear that Grandma Patsy is helping out for a while. This "mom" thing takes some getting used to :)

There was this tremendous bright glow over Munising. I asked, what is this and where does it come from? I was told it was joy, glee, merriment and greatfulness. It comes from the home of the Petska family. You are shining brightly and sharing with the world. I am so happy that you all are in each others arms and HOME.

My love, thoughts and prayers are with you always,
Pat
