What a great T-shirt on Owen! Looks like he needs a mini Harley to sit on too :-)
I wanted to thank you for inviting us to the event Saturday night. We are so glad we went as it was such a beautiful event and to learn the story behind their mission to build a "healing" garden was so touching. It was nice to officially meet Jamie and Matt too.
It was an honor and humbling to be in the presence of 4 amazing parents (and aunt M), who are also building this legacy for their children while raising money to give so much back to others despite your tremendous loss. When all the heart families were asked to stand, Kevn and I could barely bring ourselves to do so being in your company. You all deserve to stand there and should get the utmost recognition for all you have had to endure. It was humbling being among you all and hard to be reminded yet again that you are on the "other side" as you mentioned. I think their video was amazing and yet so hard to watch as grief rises back to the surface from where it usually is hovering in the background. Since the calendar has turned to March, and continuing to follow your journey makes this milestone seem too real and too hard to believe all over again. We are so thankful for your friendship and continue to think & pray for everyone in your life that is so missing precious "B". We are always here for you rain or shine, Love, Erika & Kevin
