This blog was designed to share our son's journey - living with a congenital heart defect. Braden was born on August 17, 2006, and was diagnosed with HLHS two days later. After 2 open heart surgeries within three months of age, Braden thrived and marveled the doctors throughout his little life. On the late evening of March 16, 2009, Braden's heart went into a fatal arrhythmia. He earned his angel wings on March 17th. This blog now marks the journey of survival - living with the devastating loss of our hero, our son, our precious B.

Wow! I think you get cuter every time I see a picture, Braden. You certainly will be turning all the girls heads when you're out and about! Rich and Steph, you've definitely got a heart breaker on your hands.

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe how ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE Braden is!!!! Hope you are all doing well and the b-ball season didn't stress you out too much! Be sure to let us know when your next clinic appointment is so I can see him in person!
