Sunday Afternoon

Hello,
Progress is still great. His O2 sats have been at their best today (mid 80's) since surgery. He's still on 1/2 a liter of oxygen, but with his sats improving as they ween the O2, he should be on room air in no time! His heart rate is looking great as well. We've seen lots of big smiles from our lil' man today :-) Also, his chest tube drainage has been close to nothing today, so hopefully those chest tubes come out tomorrow!!!

The power of prayer = amazing!!!!

Love,
Steph

Hello Petska family, learned about Braden from Tammy Tomomitsu. Our little Aidan, who is 3, had his Glenn 3 years ago in November and his Fontan in May this year for HRHS. He is doing fanastic thanks to Dr. Tweddle and the amazing staff at Children's.

I am happy to hear how well Braden is progressing and will pray that his chest tubes come out tomorrow.

Best wishes! Jeff, Sarah, and Aidan Cooley

I am SO HAPPY! I couldn't get logged on when I was out of town and was anxious to see Braden's progress. I hope he continues at the same rate and you get to the 4th floor soon and HOME soon.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers! Love, Jodi

Tried calling you guys a couple times yesterday it was near the dinner hour so probally caught you grabbing a bite to eat somewhere..... This is such GREAT news we keep reading!! He is doing it "the right way" and will be out of there in no time!!! Way to go Braden!! Remember to take care of yourselves so you will be ready to take that little guy home for his first christmas celebration!!! I think Santa has extra special things for little guys that are so good through so much tough stuff!!
