Update

Hello,
Well, it looks as if the med we had been giving him at home that they were continuing here is causing his heart rate to be lower than where they'd like it to be. The med was administered originally to mellow out his heart rate when he got stressed. They will ween him off of the med now, but in the mean time he will have to be paced for a bit. Being on a pacer will keep us in the PICU another day....oh darn! They even had a room waiting for us upstairs.

Sorry to hear of the delay to the 4th floor. Remember . . . baby steps! Won't be long and you'll all be home again. Thanks so much for taking time to keep us updated. I know it's appreciated by everyone. Keeping you in our prayers.

Love and Blessings,
Dennis & Lisa

Sometimes words seem so hollow. I believe that it is the difficult times that show our strength and who we are. These are some of those moments for you all. Your strength and love are immeasurable. When you think you are at your ropes end, it multiplies.

My love, prayers and thoughts are will you all.

Pat

Rich, came close to calling you at 5:00 am yesterday to let you know we didn't have school. It would in a warped sort of way still feel good to hear that call that eary in the morning. Glad everything is going well!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way the Cellar Dwellers Homeroom Association is planning a Christmas Cookie Extravaganca on Dec. 21st. I have the decorations for the Christmas Wonderland. Everthing is secure in the basement! Take care of your family and when you can give Braden a hug from the Hollingsworth's.
