Today's Update.....7:30pm

Hello,
Well today went as well as it could with Braden being re-intubated. The good news is that his echocardiogram came back a-okay and his cultures have been negative so far (no infection). I guess those darn lungs of his just have to get the hang of the new pumping system in his heart. The doctor is going to give him a day or two of rest and nutrition before they try extubation round 3.

Well, it's time to eat.....

Love,
Steph
PS...I must comment on the pic that Rich posted. He's just the cutest damn thing I ever layed eyes on. We literally sit there for hours watching his every move....putting a smile on our face when he purses his lips, smiles in his sleep, or opens his eyes. He swells our heart with so much love and pride.

It's great the way you talk about loving your little guy! Talk about love & pride - that's what we all feel watching you two handle this curve ball that life has thrown you.....We're all still keeping you in our prayers and thinking of the 3 of you all thru the day!

I may be a little biased being the favorite "Great" Aunt and all but he is really really cute. We cannot wait to see him. Thanks for the daily updates. Our prayers continue to be with you. Love you all, Anna & the kids.

Steph and Rich: We have been following closely the progress of little Braden and he has remained in our prayers here. It is such an inspiration to us how strong you both are. Anne and everyone at Dr Stan's office

Steph and Rich,
I just want to say a prayer right now for the 3 of you.....
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the gift of this beautiful child,Braden. Thank you for the strength and courage that you have given to him and his parents. We pray for wisdom for the doctors caring for Braden, that he will have a complete recovery, learn to eat very quickly and have a normal life with his proud parents. We ask your blessings, grace and mercy on Braden and his family Lord. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. AMEN!
Hang in there..... I know how frustrating and tedious it can be waiting, watching and wondering.
Braden sure is a cutie!

love Georgie
