Braden got his tube out this morning and Steph got to hold him again. He is maintaining his breathing and will be receiving regular treatments. This will keep his lungs inflated, and hopefully not have to get the tube back in again.

This blog was designed to share our son's journey - living with a congenital heart defect. Braden was born on August 17, 2006, and was diagnosed with HLHS two days later. After 2 open heart surgeries within three months of age, Braden thrived and marveled the doctors throughout his little life. On the late evening of March 16, 2009, Braden's heart went into a fatal arrhythmia. He earned his angel wings on March 17th. This blog now marks the journey of survival - living with the devastating loss of our hero, our son, our precious B.
