Braden's Surgery is today

He was taken away at about 830 this morning. We had a great morning with him before he had to go. He was awake and looking at us and squirming around.

He had the window room on the end and we had a beautiful sunrise that lit up his whole room while the chaplain was in for his blessing and prayers.

We will be briefed on an hourly basis about how he is doing.

I will post as often as I can.

Thanks for everything,

Rich

The beautiful sunrise is God's sign of bright days ahead. Hold on to this thought and stay strong.

Steph, Rich and Braden,

My thoughts and prayers are with you! I'm currently sitting at my desk in the Sibling Play Area at Children's Hospital - St. Paul. I can think of a long list of our patients and their families that have successfully beaten this diagnosis and thrived after surgery. I'm looking forward to adding you to this group.

Love, hope and prayers~
